Missa - I'm so glad that you were able to learn that there is nothing wrong with being gay or falling in love with someone of the same sex. I am a Christian and I have a son who is gay and we had a very similar journey. I believe that our stories have the potential to help change the world into a safer, kinder, more loving place for lgbt people. So, thanks for sharing your story and doing your part to change the world!
Hi Liz, Thank you for your encouragement :) I love hearing from parents who love and support their lgbt children. There's nothing like a mom fighting for her kid.
Missa-I found your blog through your mom. I look forward to hearing what God has revealed to you. While I don't have a child that is gay, my husband's step-brother is gay. We are very strong in our faith in Christ & the first thing that we told him was that we love and support him 100%. We aren't called to judge, we are called to love! Praying that God will continue to use you in a mighty way! Blessings, Julie
I'm glad to hear that your first response was love. I know it's always a shock for people when they discover someone they love is gay. The fact that your go-to emotion was love shows Christ more than anything. Thanks again for your support, Missa
